Saints travel to Perpignan this Saturday to face the Catalan Dragons in what looks set to be a mouth-watering Betfred Super League fixture.
The players will be wearing a unique jersey for the trip courtesy of our partnership with Totally Wicked.
The firm agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with the Saints in 2014 and since then it has been strengthened to include stadium naming rights.
In 2017, Langtree Park was renamed the Totally Wicked Stadium.
For this game, the Team BRIT logo will take Totally Wicked’s place on the right sleeve and back of the Saints’ jersey to create a unique playing strip which will be worn only when we play in Catalan this season.
Team BRIT is a competitive motor racing team consisting of disabled drivers. It aims to be the first ever all-disabled team to race in the Le Mans 24 hours and is normalising disability by inspiring and motivating others with its ‘Believe and Achieve’ ethos.
Totally Wicked has proudly sponsored Team BRIT since July 2017 and they have appeared on The Invictus Games, ITV News and Good Morning Britain in recent times.
Founded in 2015 by CEO Dave Player, Team BRIT is still in its early years so this type of exposure is essential to expand the team and its support.
Team BRIT Chairman Dave Player said: “We’re extremely grateful to Totally Wicked for their continued support. It’s the backing we receive from our partners that keeps us on the race track, and helps us deliver our message to the motorsport industry and further afield, that disabled sports people can compete on a level playing field.
“Having our logo on the St Helens’ team shirts for their French fixture is fantastic, as it introduces our team to a whole new community of people who we hope will be interested and inspired by our story.”
Dave Hutchinson, St Helens General manager added: “Our relationship with our Principal Partners Totally Wicked continues to go from strength to strength. We have already collaborated on the STOPTOBER and Wear It Pink campaigns in recent months raising awareness and funds for deserving causes.
“Their support for Team BRIT is superb and one that we as a club are happy to help with in this way.”
