Luke Thompson has thanked the fans for their support throughout the 2018 season.
The 23-year-old prop, who had a stellar year in the red vee, took to Instagram to spread the message far and wide.
“What a year,” he wrote. “Sadly after being at the top all season we just came up short. Devastated but all we can do now is look to next year to repeat all the hard work and improve.
“Big thanks to all the fans that have supported us throughout!
“And to the lads and staff moving on, thanks for everything, will miss you all and I wish you the best for the future.

Thompson scooped the Players’ Player of the Year, Player of the Year and Members’ Player of the Year at our awards night as well as being called up to the England squad and named in the 2018 Dream Team.
Luke is Saints and Proud, and so are we.
