Saints’ Heritage Society in conjunction with St.Helens R.F.C. recently unveiled the club’s Heritage Numbers for those who have played in competitive first team matches from 1895 to the present day.
Following on from the great success of the first open day in August and as a result of unprecedented on-going demand, there is now another opportunity for the most direct family member of a deceased former player to receive the special certificate and commemorative brochure to celebrate their relative’s unique place in Saints’ history.
A special Open Day has been planned at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Tuesday 24th September, in the Red Vee Bar, from 10am to 4pm.
Family members are also encouraged to bring in any associated memorabilia connected to their relative’s rugby career to share with us on the day.
The full list of Heritage Numbers can be found on the Saints’ Heritage Society’s website at www.saints.org.uk.
