Our Saints Academy players will embark on their Tour of Australia in just under two week's time and we can now reveal their schedule of fixtures.
As part of the build-up they had their shirts presented to them last week by first team stars and Academy graduates Morgan Knowles, Aaron Smith and Matty Costello.
Our 2019 Saints touring squad were presented with their playing shirts ahead of their trip to Australia over the weekend as former Academy products @knowlezy6 @aaronnn_smith and @mattcostello24 did the honours. 🙌#saintsandproud pic.twitter.com/RoJ3DHa3xg

Player Performance Manager Neil Kilshaw explains why the shirt presentations are important in the players development.
“This fantastic evening sits right at the end of our preparations and is a great opportunity for the players, staff and their families to celebrate their selection, congratulate themselves for their fundraising efforts and importantly look ahead to the tour.
“As is tradition, two former tourists in Morgan Knowles and Matty Costello came along to present the shirts to the players and offered some tips of what to expect in the coming weeks.”
2019 will be the eighth installment of our Academy tours since 2004. In fundraising for so many tours the support of the local community has been a constant and without their backing it just wouldn’t be possible.
It’s an exciting time for the whole squad and the players not only represent the professional club but also their schools, their community clubs and the wider sport of Rugby League.
This year’s tourists will be revealed in due course.
