Before the lads jetted off to their warm weather training camp, we caught up with Jonny Lomax at Saturday's open training session and he admitted he is excited to get back on the field, starting with Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook's testimonial on Sunday 19 January.
Lomax only returned to training in December after an extended season last year, representing Great Britain overseas and our stand-off, who had a memorable season in 2019, admitted he is now excited for the season that lies ahead.
Jonny also reflects on Saturday’s session, reveals how he has found training under new Head Coach Kristian Woolf and says the hard work he and the boys are putting in now, will hopefully pay off as the season kicks off.
