Each day whilst we are all in Lockdown this week we will recall a famous match from the current day thanks to Saints Heritage Society.

First Division: St. Helens 31-20 Oldham at Knowsley Road.
Local lad Paul Loughlin came off the bench and kicked his first goal for the seniors. Straight and true! The first of Paul’s laudable total of 842 for his home-town club was captured for posterity by legendary photographer Brian Peers.
