Yesterday, as with every Tuesday, volunteers from the Veterans of the Foundation were out and about delivering food and essentials to other veterans in need.
However, this week was slightly different as they decided fancy dress was the order of the day in order to bring some laughter and cheer to those in isolation.
Steve Leonard, Saints Community Development Foundations Director said:
“It makes an incredible sight seeing our veterans camaraderie shine through as it has done on numerous occasions. Thanks again to the great people of St Helen’s for their kind donations of groceries and essentials we would also like to thank our volunteers from the Veterans of The Foundation for delivering the parcels and more importantly checking on the well being of their friends and comrades when they need it most.”
