St.Helens Chairman Eamonn McManus has paid tribute to the Club's fan base for its unwavering support during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Club has seen a hugely positive response from its 2020 Members, who have been asked to determine their Membership Rebate options via an online form.
To date, over 82% have chosen not to take a refund of their Membership, which in turn, will hugely help the stability of the Club in the short term.
He commented “I would like to personally thank all Members who have been able to kindly donate. This support is truly vital to the Club’s well-being during these difficult times.
The impact of this pandemic, on all facets of our lives has been unprecedented.
We understand that not all Members are in a position to donate and we know that our fans will show their support in whatever ways they can.
For those that have been able to donate, this gesture is one that truly humbles us and only goes to reaffirm that Saints fans are the best in Super League.
Despite what has played out so far, we now have Betfred Super League matches back on our TV screens and I remain very positive that things will return to normal in the near future.
Our scintillating form on the field since the re-start has certainly been business as usual and I hope to see you all back at the Totally Wicked Stadium very soon to cheer on Kristian and the rest of the team.”
2020 Members need to complete their online Membership rebate form before Tuesday 15 September 2020.
