After appeal Alex Walmsley's two match suspension has been downgraded to a Grade B meaning he will now serve a one match ban.
Our prop forward had been adjudged guilty of a Grade C dangerous contact on Leeds’ Alex Sutcliffe in last week’s victory.
Walmsley accepted the dangerous contact, but challenged the panel’s grading.
On appeal, the RFL Tribunal downgraded the tackle from a Grade C ‘reckless’ to a Grade B ‘careless’ meaning he will now only serve a one match suspension, rather than the original two.
Walmsley will therefore miss Friday’s Betfred Super League clash with Wigan.
He has also been fined £500.
