Match Preview: Saints vs Wigan

Saints face Wigan Warriors in the derby tonight with kick off at 7.45pm at our Totally Wicked Stadium and you can read all the pre-match news right now in our match preview.

BACKGROUND…

The bragging rights are up for grabs, as is the top of the table tag – with the winners of Friday night’s clash heading to the top of the Betfred Super League table with the League Leaders Shield in sights.

Saints suffered our first defeat in the league since the restart against Salford, but Kristian Woolf did field a young side with five debutants – with Friday night’s clash in mind.

Wigan arrive with a full week of preparation after their 58-12 win over Salford. They last tasted defeat against Leeds back on 3rd October. The week previous to that Saints beat Wigan 42-0 as the Warriors opted to play a host of youngsters.
