SCDF deliver food and toys to local families

Saints Community Development Foundation staff were joined by Saints Head Coach Kristian Woolf and his son Jack, alongside Merseyside Police as we delivered food and toys to local families today.

Food hampers were created and distributed to local veterans and their families, as we all know nobody should go hungry this Christmas and we made it our primary objective to ensure our local veterans had supplies and essentials to last them through the winter break, all thanks to local food donated by our fantastic community.

Toys was also wrapped and distributed to local children and families around the borough.

Saints Community Development Foundation would like to say a massive thank you to Kristian, Merseyside Police and all staff who worked hard in getting hampers and toys ready for distribution.

Most importantly, we want to thank you, our local community for donating food, essentials and toys to our Christmas appeal.

Derek Hardman, Saints Community Development Foundations Chaplain said: “We are incredibly proud of our local community, I would like to thank all that have donated to our causes over recent months, your help ensures we make a big difference within our very own community this Christmas.”

Merry Christmas from everyone at Saints Community Development Foundation!
