Now the Sky Sports broadcast schedule has been confirmed, Saints fixtures for Rounds 6, 7 and 8 can be revealed.
With the UK government’s roadmap setting Monday 17 May as the earliest date fans are expected to return to stadia, a number of clubs have opted to move their fixtures to this date to hopefully be able to welcome fans back into stadiums for the first time in over fourteen months.
Saints will face Salford at our Totally Wicked Stadium home on Monday 17 May in Round 6 – with kick off at 7:45pm. The game will NOT be televised.
Leeds Rhinos will kick off Round 6 when they face Wakefield Trinity at Emerald Headingley Stadium on Friday 14 May (7:45 KO).
On Monday 17 May, Sky Sports will broadcast Warrington Wolves versus Huddersfield Giants at the Halliwell Jones Stadium – a fixture which could be one of the first sporting events to welcome fans back this year.
Saints Round 7 fixture sees us facing Catalans Dragons in Perpignan on Saturday 22 May with kick off at 5pm UK time and the game will be aired live on Sky Sports thanks to the Dragons recent TV deal with beIN Sports and Sky allowing their first five games to be aired on Sky Sports.
Our Round 8 fixture sees us host Hull FC at home on Friday 28 May with a 7.45pm kick off. Again that game will be aired live on Sky Sports.
