The Saints Women's squad have continued the push for our friends in Tonga, after donating training kit as part of the Club's initiative.
The squad were all on hand before training this week to hand over training kit, including boots and equipment which the Club will add to the growing collection and ship back to Tonga!
Saints win over Warrington was a tribute to our Tongan Initiative with the match-worn shirts now available for action, but there is still time to do your bit to help the people of Tonga.
Fans can drop off their rugby shirts/equipment at the home of our Saints Community Development Foundation – The Shining Lights Centre, Forrest Road, St Helens, WA9 4AT – between the hours of 9am-8pm.
Those who play for local Community Club’s please drop these off with your St Helens Rugby League Committee Member who will arrange for these to be added to our container for transport.
After launching the Tonga relief project earlier this month, we have seen huge numbers of support and positivity with fans already donating rugby clothing and equipment to the cause.
A number of generous rugby league fans have also donated to the cause by the way of the Just Giving Fundraising page which can be accessed here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/SaintsSupportingTonga
For those that missed the big reveal, the Club launched an initiative which will see replica shirts and sports equipment sent to Tonga to help provide children with vital clothing and resources after the island was devastated recently following a Tsunami.
The Club has a host of Tongan themed activity planned for this Friday’s BIG clash with Warrington Wolves at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Follow the link below for all the information including how you can buy tickets!
