Match Preview: Leeds Rhinos vs Saints – Round 7

Saints face Leeds Rhinos at Headingley Stadium on Friday with kick off at 8pm as we look to return to winning ways in the Betfred Super League.

BACKGROUND…

Saints face Leeds Rhinos looking to get back to winning ways in the Betfred Super League after defeat to Toulouse in France two weeks ago. However, we do head into this one on the back of a convincing win over Whitehaven in the Challenge Cup last weekend.

James Roby could make his 500th Saints appearance against a Leeds side who have not won since a win against Wakefield back on 3 March – there only victory so far this season.

Jamie-Jones Buchanan is in temporary charge after Richard Agar left the Club recently and the Rhinos are bound to be wounded animals come Friday night in a game which always lives up to expectations!

Kel Coslett (531 Appearances), Eric Chisnall (523 Appearances) and Billy Benyon (514 Appearances) are the only Saints who have played over 500 games for the Club.

And now our captain, James Roby, could get the chance to join that iconic trio as he pulls on the Red Vee for the 500th time on Friday against Leeds Rhinos at Emerald Headingley (8pm kick off).
