Past Players Walk Around Carr Mill Dam

Several Saints players, past and present, walked around Carr Mill Dam on Friday as part of the Saints Past Players Association's regular meet-up and walk!

Every month, the Saints Past Players Association will walk around Carr Mill Dam and its surroundings, depending on the weather conditions.

The monthly event has already had a cross section of former players take part, with 1961 Wembley winner Brian McGinn and 1970s wing legend Les Jones walking, through to Academy youngster George Whitby, the recently retired James Roby, and St.Helens Women’s Head Coach Matty Smith all taking part in the most recent walk!

Last Friday’s walk (16th February) was held just ahead of the 2024 Super League opening fixture against London Broncos.

The players will meet again numerous times over the coming year, as they do every year as part of Saints’ Past Players association!
