Rochdale Hornets 14-10 Midlands Hurricanes – Will Roberts
Following the confirmation of his two-week loan move to the Hornets, Roberts, the young half started as Rochdale got back to winning ways with a narrow win over the Hurricanes.
Rochdale sit in fourth spot in the league table, with the win clearing a five point gap over the Midlands team in fifth.
Halifax Panthers 20-24 Widnes Vikings – Brett Bailey
Back on loan with the Vikings, Bailey came off the bench and added some more impact as Widnes roared to an important away day victory over Halifax at The Shay.
Alan Coleman’s men held off a late Fax fightback after going 0-18 before the half hour mark. The lead went back and forth and Widnes got themselves 20-24 with fifteen minutes left and held out for a big win.
Swinton Lions 20-22 Whitehaven – Ciaran Nolan
Saints Reserves player Nolan joined our dual-registration partners Swinton for their home fixture against Whitehaven, coming on the field as an interchange. Haven fired back with an spirited second half to take the spoils.
North Wales Crusaders 16-46 Hunslet – Ben Lane
Featuring on loan for the Welsh side, Lane slotted over a penalty and and two conversions, as well as grabbing a late consolation try as Hunslet took a strong victory away from Stadium CSM.
