📰 FIRST TEAM SQUAD NEWS
Paul Wellens makes just one change to his team following last Sunday afternoon’s win over the Giants. Jack Welsby is named in the 21-man squad for the first time since Round 19 against Leigh when he suffered a hamstring injury in the opening few minutes of that match.
Leon Cowen is the Saints who steps out of the declaration from the previous round. Tommy Makinson will serve the second game of his two-match penalty notice.
Sam Burgess is forced into one change after prop Paul Vaughan received a three-match penalty notice following the Wolves’ defeat to Leigh last week. Young forward Max Wood steps into his place

💬 COACH PREVIEW
Wellens reflected on a good performance last week in The Derby away at Wigan and stated that was the level of performance we need consistently, regardless of the high number of injuries his team.
In an update on when it is hoped we can see some of our senior Saints back in action, the Red V went through the latest player by player.
Having already played Warrington at home in the Challenge Cup and it ending in disappointing fashion, Wellens is aware of the threat of the Wolves, and wants his team to defend strongly.

🔻 WHAT KIT WILL SAINTS BE WEARING?
The Saints’ 24 Home Kit will be worn on Saturday afternoon against Warrington Wolves!
Our traditional white shirt with a Red V is a sharper, modern look, with watermark shard designs whilst the ‘V’ itself is a subtle two-tone design, a feature never before seen on a St.Helens shirt.

🕺 SIONE WANTS STRONG FINISH TO 2024
The versatile and dynamic forward returned to play in recent weeks and grabbed a great try in our last round against Huddersfield Giants.
‘Cee’ talks about wanting to end this seasons strongly, and that whilst it was tough to watch from the sidelines as our injury-hit squad were going through a tough time that we can still achieve what we desire come October.
