As first revealed last night, Paul Wellens’ men will commence the 2025 league campaign against Salford Red Devils at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Saturday, 15th February with kick-off at 5:30pm.
The Saints’ will then have back-to-back visits to West Yorkshire in Round Two and Three, firstly to The Mend-A-Hose Jungle to face Castleford Tigers on Saturday, 22nd February for a nighttime game at 8pm. The following Saturday, 1st March, upon their return back into Super League Wakefield Trinity will host St.Helens for an afternoon kick-off at 2:30pm.
There are two huge home matches in March with Saints hosting Grand Finalists Hull KR (7th March) and local neighbours Warrington Wolves (21st March), with both matches at the Totally Wicked Stadium to be played on a Friday night.
March will close out with a trip to Perpignan to face Catalans Dragons on Saturday, 29th March.
The traditional Good Friday Derby against our old rivals Wigan Warriors is at their ground this year at 3pm on the 18th of April. The box office encounter is always one of the most highly anticipated matches in the calendar, as The Biggest Derby in Rugby League writes another exciting chapter.
For the first time ever, the Saints and Leeds Rhinos will meet one another at Super League’s annual festival of action – MAGIC WKND – on Saturday, 3rd May. Tickets for Members with a 50% discount are available now on our ticketing website.
In June, the Saints will host Leeds and Salford in back-to-back home games, followed by a local rivalry getting renewed in July when Leigh Leopards come to our home ground for our first meeting of the year.
August is a stacked month with three home matches against Castleford, Huddersfield, and Hull FC.
As we go closer to the end of the regular season, the Saints and Wigan will meet again at the start of September for The Derby but this time played at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, 5th September at 8pm.
St.Helens’ final home regular league match will be a home fixture against Castleford Tigers on Sunday, 21st September with a kick-off time to be confirmed. That will close out the regular Betfred Super League season; 27 rounds, 13 at home, 13 away, with 1 match at MAGIC WKND.
Following Round 27 the top six teams in the competition will enter the Play-Offs, with the top two sides earning a week off and a home Semi-Final – just eighty minutes away from a Grand Final appearance – with the Semis played in the second week of the Play-Offs. The first week of knockout action sees the team that finished third take on sixth, and fourth against fifth in two Eliminator Play-Off matches.
The 2025 Betfred Super League reaches its conclusion with the Grand Final at Manchester United’s home stadium, Old Trafford, on Saturday, 11th October.
