The week running from Monday 12th to Sunday 18th May represented Mental Health Awareness Week!
The Saints Community Development Foundation decided to post a series of posts onto social media, to help those struggling with their mental health.
The posts included support for the likes of:

- Our Community Clubs
- Safe Spaces
- Self-Harm Support
- Signs of Suicide
- Lifelines

Monday – Why Community Matters
“A Community is a group of people who share a common interest or goal. At its core, a Community is about people and the relationships they share.”

Tuesday – Our Community Clubs
“The greatest sense of Community comes within our Community Clubs and their volunteers. Getting involved within our Community Clubs can contribute to a real sense of purpose and make that Community feel.”

Wednesday – Safe Spaces
“Safe Spaces is a network of organisations offering same day urgent mental health support for anyone aged seven and over, including children, young people, and adults in emotional distress or crisis.”

Thursday – Self-Harm Support
“Support for children and young people who are self-harming.”

Friday – Signs of Suicide
“But when someone is thinking of ending their life, they may do one or more of these warning signs.”

Saturday – Lifelines
“If you, or someone you know, is feeling like they want to die, it’s important to tell someone.”

Sunday – Thank You
