St.Helens Women will depart the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, 6th June, for the 2025 Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Final at Wembley Stadium which will be played the following day.
The Club is encouraging supporters who can to come along and wave the team off to show them support as they bid to continue an historic run and a fifth successive Challenge Cup trophy being brought back to the town.
In the last two seasons, the staff and players for St.Helens Women’s team have been moved by the number of fans that have attended the traditional Wembley send-off, and we would love to have that wonderful show of support once again.
As part of the event, St.Helens R.F.C. can also confirm that Rainford High School’s Year 7 team will be part of the departure too! This will be ahead of the Rainford’s inspiresport Champion Schools Final which will kick-off Finals Day at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 7th June 2025.
Our local school will be taking on Sirius Academy West, a school side based in Hull in the exciting final, and everyone at St.Helens R.F.C. would like to wish them the best of luck!
On departure day, Rainford students will form a guard of honour for the team, prior to the Saints Women’s boarding onto the team bus for Wembley.

Friday, 6th June 2025 – bus departure at 9:30am with the team expected to board from just after 9am.

The Totally Wicked Stadium, with fans asked to attend by filling the outside area by the Stadium Reception
🎨 WHAT TO BRING
Bring your hand-made signs, good luck letters or drawings, or anything you think will wish the girls the best of luck ahead of the big game!
🚗 PARKING
Fans are encouraged to park on the Stadium Car Park and then to attend by approaching the outside area by the Stadium Reception and Superstore in advance of the departure time. We do ask supporters to please refrain from entering the Reception area itself.
