Saints 21-woman squad for Challenge Cup Final

St.Helens Women take on Wigan Warriors Women at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 7th June 2025 in the Betfred Women's Challenge Cup Final.

For the first time at the new Wembley Stadium, two of the biggest rugby league clubs St.Helens and Wigan Warriors, will meet in a Final fixture at the national stadium, and the winner will take home with them the 2025 Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup.

Our Saints Women are the current holders of the trophy and have held onto the Cup for four straight years, and should they be successful in London it would continue this historic run and make it five years on the spin.

This match will mark Wigan Warriors’ first appearance in the Women’s Challenge Cup Final, and the first Women’s Final ever between the two sides. The Warriors under Denis Betts with the support of their club have built their women’s programme to being a competitive force, demonstrated by their unbeaten start to the 2025 season which included a seismic Semi Final victory over Leeds.

It has all the makings of being a brilliant battle for silverware, and our Saints are fired up to defend their crown.

📰 SQUAD NEWS

Joint Head Coaches Derek Hardman & Craig Richards have confirmed their 21-woman squad.

Richards and Hardman make just two changes to the squad they last named which recorded an important away day Betfred Women’s Super League victory over York Valkyrie.
