In the latest edition of the Saints TV exclusive show, Sit Down With Saints, the Red V's #1 and Vice Captain Jack Welsby joins our host, Stuart Pyke.
Originally filmed in the days running up to the Saints’ away fixture against Hull KR at the end of May, unfortunately, Jack picked up an injury which required surgery – you can read more on that news by clicking here.
The Saints and England fullback speaks to Stuart about the team’s form as we head into the second half of the season, and how all involved are striving for more consistent and strong performances, as well as offering an insight into the mindset of one of Super League’s biggest stars.
Welsby also discusses the wonderful reception he received from the travelling supporters at Huddersfield after he scored a hat-trick of tries in an emphatic win, and believed it was a line in the sand moment following the comments he made after Magic Weekend, which he made to support his teammates and his Head Coach.
With several youngsters breaking through and staking their claims in the team, ‘Super Jack’ is keen to help them progress and develop their talents to become key Saints men.
