Ian Talbot’s young Reserves side came into the fixture following consecutive wins in the competition.
The Saints Reserves faced Wigan in the derby at the Totally Wicked Stadium at the weekend. It was the second meeting between the two sides in 2025, after Saints won 24-25 at Robin Park Arena earlier on in the year.
