Following on from a big win last time out in the league over Warrington, we would be looking to carry that form into this game against the league’s form team so far this season. With our last game against the Warriors being at Wembley in a loss in the Women’s Challenge Cup final, we would be looking to right some wrongs from that game, and we would need to in order to come away with the points.
Wigan would go into the game with us as the only two unbeaten teams left in this year’s competition, but managing to better us with five wins from five against out four wins and one draw. After a big performance last time out against the Leigh Leopards too, they would be full of confidence going into this one, and with a number of injuries across our backline through the game, the task would become even greater.
