Academy vs Leeds Rhinos (A)
The Saints Academy are looking for their sixth win in a row, following victories over Salford, Leigh, Hull FC, Castleford, Wigan. The victory over Salford last time out was an incredibly dominant performance from our Under 18s, who ran in 94 points and conceded just 6 in the seventh round of the Academy Championship.
A tough test now awaits the Red V next up, with the Leeds Rhinos Academy side undefeated so far in the 2025 season, recording seven wins and boasting a markedly stronger points difference over Warrington who are tied with them in the league ladder.
Derek Traynor’s Saints sit in fourth spot heading into Round 8, knowing that a victory over Leeds could potentially move us up to third with four more matches of the regular season to go.

The Saints and the Rhinos meet for the second time in the Betfred Women’s Super League season after a thrilling 20-20 draw at the Totally Wicked Stadium in Round One back in May.
Derek Hardman & Craig Richards’ Saints remain unbeaten in the WSL after a phenomenal 22-22 derby day draw at Robin Park Arena against Wigan Warriors a fortnight ago.
Lois Forsell’s Rhinos are on a three-match winning run after beating Warrington, Barrow and Leigh, all at home to establish a strong run of home form.

First Team vs Leeds Rhinos (A)
21 days removed from a terrific battle at the Totally Wicked Stadium, the Saints and the Rhinos meet once again for the fourth time this season, but this time at the home of the Rhinos – AMT Headingley Stadium.
The Saints are on a four-match winning run heading into Round 18 of Betfred Super League, after strong victories both home and away over Salford, with an important victory over Leeds Rhinos sandwiched in between those Red Devils fixtures. On Saturday afternoon, Paul Wellens’ men went to the MKM Stadium and saw off Hull FC with a 6-13 away day result.
Last Sunday Leeds Rhinos produced arguably their best performance of the year to defeat Hull KR on the road, 8-14, to stay two points above the Red V and sit in third place on the Super League table.
Matches between St.Helens and Leeds are always memorable affairs, and with the race for the Play-Offs heating up, and having just met in a brilliant contest just three weeks earlier, this match should be another brilliant one to watch.
