21 days since Saints’ last encounter with the Rhinos, two of the biggest and best rugby league clubs meet for a fourth time in the 2025 season.

The Red V are on a four-match winning run heading into Round 18 of Betfred Super League, after strong victories both home and away over Salford, with an important victory over Leeds Rhinos in between those Red Devils games. And last Saturday, Wellens’ men went saw off Hull FC with a 6-13 result at the MKM Stadium.

Leeds Rhinos last time out produced arguably their best performance of the season to defeat Hull KR away, 8-14. That result holds Leeds two points above St.Helens in the league table, in third place.

The head-to-head score in 2025 is 2-1 in favour of the Saints, after a Challenge Cup victory in March and the Round 15 win just three weeks ago. Brad Arthur’s men did take home the spoils from Magic Weekend in Newcastle at the start of May, and back on their own turf they will be out for revenge and too rolling their recent strong momentum.

Paul Wellens is holding his weekly press conference later this afternoon and will give the latest on his squad. Saints TV subscribers will be able to watch it back in full.
