St.Helens are over in Perpignan to take on Catalans Dragons in Round 3 of Betfred Super League 2026.

Following a hard-fought victory over Leigh Leopards last Friday night, the Saints are travelling to France to rekindle their fiery rivalry with the Dragons.
The Catalans have had a mixed start to the 2026 season. They won the Challenge Cup Third Round match against the Batley Bulldogs and then secured an opening-round home victory over the Huddersfield Giants. However, last Friday they suffered a defeat to the newly promoted Bradford Bulls, 28-10, at Odsal. Dragons Head Coach Joel Tomkins will be seeking a response.
Our last visit to Perpignan was a boost, particularly after their thrilling 13-14 victory. This win marked the Saints’ first league away win over the Catalans since 2018, thanks to two late Jonny Lomax drop goals.
Rowley’s Saints are aiming for consistent positive performances moving forward and a win over the Dragons would be a strong indicator of their intent in the early stages of the new season.
