Daryl Clark is backing Saints to respond positively this week as attention turns to Thursday night’s Betfred Super League clash with Warrington Wolves.
The experienced hooker stressed the importance of being switched on from the first minute, highlighting the challenge that awaits against his former club.
Clark acknowledged that Warrington have come out on top in recent meetings between the sides, but said Saints are determined to put that right and secure an important result at home.
Reflecting on last week’s defeat to Leeds Rhinos, he admitted there was disappointment at not coming away with the win but believes there were plenty of positives the team can build on heading into Thursday’s fixture.
After six weeks on the road, Clark also spoke about how much the squad are looking forward to returning to the BrewDog Stadium, emphasising the role the Saints faithful can play in helping drive the team forward.
