Everton star defender James Tarkowski visits the BrewDog Stadium to meet members of the St.Helens First Team, ahead of the 2026 Magic Weekend at Hill Dickinson Stadium!
Everton supporter Jackson Hastings, alongside teammates Matty Lees, Shane Wright and Tristan Sailor, welcomed the England international footballer to the Home of the Saints.
Tarkowski took on a variety of Rugby League challenges, including tackling, kicking, penalty conversions, and some football challenges, showcasing a terrific crossover between the two sports.
Our team will be taking to the field at the home of the Blues wearing our classic royal blue and white vertical striped 2026 Third Kit, which pays homage to the momentous 1996 Saints campaign. It’s been 30 years since the Club secured the inaugural Super League title and a truly memorable Challenge Cup triumph at Wembley. The away shirt worn during that season is cult favourite amongst Saints fans, having been given the ‘Tesco bag’ moniker during its initial release for the 1995/96 centenary season.
The Saints will be heading to Everton’s fantastic new home ground – the Hill Dickinson Stadium – this Sunday for the closing game of Magic WKND 2026 against Wigan Warriors, with kick-off scheduled for 5:30pm.
We would like to say thank you to James, Everton FC and Sky Sports for working with the Club on this collaboration.
