Saints’ Magic WKND Squad Confirmed

Head Coach Paul Rowley has confirmed his 21-man Saints squad that will face Wigan Warriors at the Hill Dickinson Stadium as part of Magic Weekend 2026.

R Whittle Ltd. sponsors St.Helens First Team 21-man squad announcements.

The Derby will close out Betfred Super League’s summer festival of action at the home of Everton FC on Sunday, 5th July 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 5:30pm.

It will be the third meeting of the 2026 season between Saints and Wigan, with the head-to-head for the year reading one-all. In the traditional Good Friday Derby, St.Helens stunned the Warriors after overturning a 10-24 deficit to win 34-24. However, Wigan got their victory in the Challenge Cup Semi-Final.

St.Helens head to Magic WKND on the back of two victories over Huddersfield Giants at home, and Bradford Bulls last Saturday evening at Odsal.

Magic WKND is Round 17 of the Super League competition, and both Saints and Wigan head into this round level on points in the table, separated only by points difference.

Every match between these two proud clubs is a significant occasion, but with this fixture being the third meeting and taking place at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it has all the makings of a blockbuster showdown.

Rowley makes one change to the squad he declared for the Saints’ away win over Bradford Bulls in the last round.

Daryl Clark missed the game at Odsal due to a couple of minor issues, but he is back in contention for this encounter against the Warriors.
