🌠 ‘Robbo’ is one of the brightest young stars in all rugby league

Joining the Saints from community club Halton Farnworth Hornets, Harry began his journey in our Scholarship programme at the age of 14.

After progressing through the Under 16s, he moved up to the Saints Academy Under 18s side in the 2023 season and was part of the side that won the Academy Championship, playing at half-back in the Grand Final. He also earned selection in both the Lancashire Origin and England Academy squads in that year.

During both 2023 and 2024, Robertson has also featured for the Saints Reserves team as he continues his development, with another England call-up for the Academy coming in June 2024, followed by his inclusion in Paul Wellens’ 21-man squad for the first time after entering the First Team training environment.

In July 2024, Harry made his senior St.Helens debut in The Derby away against Wigan Warriors, putting on a remarkable debut performance and setting up a try for Jack Welsby. Robertson became the 1,290th man to represent our Club. His first try for the Club came on the 1st of September away against Huddersfield Giants, after going very close on several occasions in the weeks before.

The Saints wasted no time in ensuring that one of the most promising young talents in professional rugby league would remain one of our players long-term. Robertson put pen to paper on a new four-year contract ahead of the 2025 season, keeping him in the Red V until at least the end of the 2028 season.

A move to the centres ensured that Robertson would be securing some valuable game time and would feature for the Saints in 2025. Harry took to the new position like a duck to water, starting the season in flying form, maintaining the hugely positive start to his young professional sporting career.

In his first full-time season, Robertson shone in the centres, scoring sixteen tries and setting up a further seven. Such fantastic form saw Harry earn his first senior international squad call-up in June 2025 as part of Shaun Wane’s England Train-On Squad ahead of the Ashes series against Australia in the autumn. The exciting talent was also named St.Helens’ Young Player of the Season at the Club’s annual presentation evening, ahead of then being named in the four-man shortlist for Super League’s Young Player of the Year award too.
