MATTY Smith could make his long awaited debut for Saints this Friday.
Head Coach Keiron Cunningham said the scrum half had a good chance of taking to the field against Warrington.
“Matty has trained with us for a couple of weeks now so isn’t far off,” he said. “The game might come a little too early for Jonny Lomax though.”
Smith broke his leg in the pre-season friendly against Widnes in January.
