St.Helens Head Coach Paul Wellens has announced his 21-man squad that will take on Hull FC this Saturday, 5th July, at the MKM Stadium.
St.Helens First Team 21-man squad announcement is sponsored by St Helens Flooring.
This first meeting of the season between the Black & Whites and our Red V will kick-off at 3pm in Hull.
The Saints head into Round 17 of the Betfred Super League on a three-match winning run, after home and away wins over Salford Red Devils, with an important home victory over Leeds Rhinos in between.
Last season, St.Helens were victorious over Hull FC at home and away, which also saw the Club win the Steve Prescott Cup for 2024. The annual contest between the Saints and the Black & Whites honours the legacy of the late great Steve Prescott MBE. The Cup is played for over the regular season meetings between Saints and Hull FC, with the team that has the highest aggregate score across the home and away fixtures wins the trophy.
Both St.Helens and Hull FC are in the top six places of the Super League table heading into Saturday’s match, with the race for the Play-Off places heating up. The Black & Whites have extra motivation to earn their first home league win of the season.
