On Thursday evening, St.Helens welcome Hull FC to the BrewDog Stadium in Round 22 of the Betfred Super League, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm.

The easiest way to secure your spot at the BrewDog Stadium is to purchase your ticket online here. You can secure a digital or ‘Print at Home’ ticket, which would not require you to visit the Ticket Office.

😇 WOMEN’S SUPER FOUR KICKS OFF
After seven rounds of the regular season, the league has now split into two divisions of four: the Super League and Shield Competition.
Our Saints Women are joined by Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and York Valkyrie in this second phase of the BWSL competition.
St.Helens Women will start their Super Four campaign against fierce rivals Wigan Warriors Women on Thursday evening as part of a double-header at the BrewDog Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 5:15pm. The match will also double as the Portico Vine’s Community Club Takeover!
SQUAD NEWS
Eamon O’Carroll makes two changes to the squad he confirmed for last Saturday’s away match against York.
It is a big boost to see George Whitby back in contention after knee surgery at the end of June. Young prop Matty Evans also returns to the 21-man selection after following return-to-play protocols due to a failed Head Injury Assessment in the Saints’ away match against Wigan a fortnight ago.
Young Saints Tyler McGann and Alfie Tate are the players who come out of the squad this week.
Andy Last makes two changes to his squad that lost to bottom-of-the-league Huddersfield Giants last time out.
They include Arthur Romano, who returns from a lengthy injury layoff, with Will Hutchinson also named. They replace Davy Litten and Ben Johnson.

Saints Women and Wigan have met twice already this season; the Warriors won the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley with a 54-6 victory that truly stung. St.Helens responded with a much-improved performance in Round 6, fighting to the very end away at Edge Hall Road, but the hosts narrowly held on for a 32-28 win.

COACH PREVIEW
The Saints will look to bounce back from last week’s tight away defeat against York Knights, with O’Carroll calling on his side to improve in key areas as the race for the Super League play-offs continues.
The focus has been on improving our team’s defensive discipline and execution to eliminate the errors that proved costly. Whilst O’Carroll acknowledges the importance of the game against the Black & Whites, he stressed the focus remains on Saints’ own performances.

HALO FANZONE
The HALO Fanzone will open once again, offering fans a vibrant mix of live music, food, and drink. It promises to be a lively pre-match destination for supporters of all ages!
MUSIC
The HALO stage will host live music opposite the Marching Inn Bar and Superstore. Kicking off the entertainment, DJ Earl Raff, will be bringing the tunes from 5:30pm.

MEET THE PLAYERS
Adding to the excitement, first-team players Nene Macdonald and Owen Dagnall will be on stage in the HALO fanzone around 6:30pm on Thursday.

The Marching Inn at the BrewDog Stadium will once again be open for our Saints faithful, and we hope you will call in to visit.
We will open the bar from 5pm on gameday for you to soak up the matchday atmosphere. DJ Earl Raff will also be performing post-match, providing live music.
HOST LOOKING FORWARD TO HOME RETURN
Jacob Host shared his excitement at returning to play in front of the home supporters at the BrewDog Stadium, praising the outstanding backing the team has received on the road in recent weeks, and expressed how much the squad is looking forward to running out in front of the Saints faithful once again.
Host explained that the team is embracing the challenge of the run-in to the end of the regular season as they battle to secure a place in the Betfred Super League Playoffs.

HALF TIME CHALLENGES
The Liverpool John Lennon Crossbar Challenge will see a Saints supporter get three attempts from the 20m line to hit the crossbar with a drop kick and the successful competitor will win a pair of flights courtesy of LJLA.

THE RECORD AGAINST HULL FC
Saints have the upper hand in recent history, with the Red V claiming nine wins from the last ten meetings between the two sides.
In the Super League era, Hull FC have won 18 meetings, while the Saints have won 48, with three draws. The Black & Whites’ biggest victory in this fixture came in 2005 as they ran out 44-6 winners. St.Helens’ biggest win was a 74-16 triumph at Knowsley Road in 1999.

🏆 PRESCOTT CUP ON THE LINE
This Thursday, when St.Helens and Hull FC meet in Round 22 of the Betfred Super League, we will remember the legacy of the late great Steve Prescott MBE.
The annual contest between the Saints and the Black & Whites is played over the regular season meetings between the two sides, with the team that has the highest aggregate score across the home and away fixtures winning the Steve Prescott Cup.
After a 24-14 win over the Black and Whites back in April, victory for the Saints on Thursday night would see them retain the trophy for a third consecutive season.
🤍❤️ SAINTS REMEMBER FRANKIE BARROW
The Saints will be paying tribute to former player Frankie Barrow ahead of kickoff on Thursday night.
One of the most recognisable figures in British rugby league, Barrow passed away at the age of 83 after bravely battling illness for well over a decade.
SUPPORTER SAFETY
St.Helens R.F.C. want to ensure that everyone who comes to enjoy game days at the BrewDog Stadium can do so in a safe and friendly environment. The Club would like to reiterate to supporters that it operates a zero-tolerance approach to any anti-social behaviour.
Misbehaviours that will not be tolerated include, but are not limited to; physical or verbal abuse, violent conduct, missile throwing, excessive alcohol misuse, and any drug use.
Furthermore, the use of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited under both rugby and football ground regulations. They can cause serious injuries to those who carry them as well as fellow spectators, as well as damage to surfaces such as the playing pitch which can cost clubs thousands of pounds.
St.Helens would also like to encourage parents/guardians of children coming to the ground to ensure they are always aware of what their child is doing and where in the stadium they are at all times.
BAG CHECK
Personal bags of A5 size or smaller only will be permitted in the BrewDog Stadium, and our stewarding staff will check your bags and conduct bag checks upon entry. We kindly ask supporters to please remain patient and be co-operative with our staff, and we thank you for your understanding.
Bags larger than A5 will only be permitted at the discretion of St.Helens R.F.C. staff if containing essentials for babies, or medical purposes and will be subject to being searched before entry. It is advised to provide Medical Exemption Certificates or proof of eligibility for a Medical Exemption Certificate.
O’Neills branded paper bags from the Saints Superstore will be permitted entry, however they too will be subject to bag checks from our stewarding staff.
Bag-Drop Facility
A Bag-Drop area will be set up at the BrewDog Stadium for any bags that would not be permitted entry. This will be located in the South East corner of the stadium and will be open from two hours before kick-off and will close one hour after full time.
Please note our Bag-Drop facility will cost £3 per bag, and as a cashless venue, only debit or credit cards will be accepted. St.Helens R.F.C. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of items which are left at the owners’ risk, with all bags subject to a search.
WHO WILL BE THE MATCH OFFICIALS?
Liam Rush will be the Referee for Thursday’s game, and he will be assisted by Touch Judges Tara Jones and Alex Cameron, as well as Video Referee Chris Kendall.
