There are four matches for the Saints this week, with an away double header at Hull KR, and both our Women's teams in action.

On Friday night, the Saints Academy and First Team will face the Robins with Play-Off positions in both competitions coming to the boil. The Under 18s fixture will open up the evening’s fixtures, followed by the main event and the Betfred Super League clash between the two clubs.
A box office Women’s clash then comes to the Totally Wicked Stadium on Saturday, with St.Helens Women hosting York Valkyrie.
Closing out our week on Sunday will be the Saints Women’s Under 19s, who will also take on York at Blackbrook ARLFC.

FRIDAY
Academy vs Hull KR (A)
It is the final regular season match of the Academy Championship campaign for our Under 18s against Hull KR.
Following their victory last Friday night over Bradford Bulls, the Saints are sat in third place heading into the final round (+213), level on league points with both Wigan (+172) and Huddersfield (+66) in fourth and fifth who we hold a better points difference over. The Academy Play-Offs are contested with the top four teams following twelve rounds, and the fight for those spots is going right down to the wire.
Hull KR lost out to the second placed Leeds Rhinos last time out, and on their own turf will be seeking to finish 2025 with a win.

First Team vs Hull KR (A)
Paul Wellens men earned a hard-fought over the Black & Whites to make it four wins in a row for the Red V last night Friday. To extend it to five, and look to lock their place in the Play-Offs, the Saints go into hostile territory against the team sat at the top of the table, and the 2025 Challenge Cup winners – Hull KR.
After two losses to the Robins in the 2025 season, a win at their ground as we edge closer to the knock-out period of the campaign would be a statement of intent by St.Helens.
Hull KR will be stinging from their loss to the Rhinos, and on their own turf will be fighting to get ever closer to their first-ever League Leaders’ Shield.

SATURDAY
Women vs York Valkyrie (H)
This will be huge clash in the Betfred Women’s Super League at the Home of the Saints – a repeat of last season’s Grand Final between Saints Women and York.
Derek Hardman & Craig Richards’ team are unbeaten in the league competition so far, and heading into Round 12 they hold a five-match winning run with just three rounds of the regular season remaining. The Red V ran riot at home last Saturday afternoon, scoring 17 tries against Barrow to go top of the table.
York last Sunday afternoon in Newcastle stunned the then unbeaten Wigan Warriors Women, giving them their first defeat of the season. That result has fired up the Valkyrie’s push for the top of the table in the latter stages of the competition.
The Valks will be out for revenge too after being knocked out of the Challenge Cup by St.Helens at the Semi Final stage for a third successive season and losing their home clash against Saints back in June.
Our Saints will be highly motivated to maintain their good run of form, and get the result over the current WSL Champions, with The Derby to be played one week later, and the fight for the League Leaders’ Shield continuing to be close between Saints, Wigan and York.

SUNDAY
Women’s Academy vs York Valkyrie (H)
Our Under 19s Women’s side return to action for the first time since the end of July.
Last time out, away against Warrington Wolves at Victoria Park, Graham Cranny’s Saints secured a 0-26 victory. They were scheduled to play Huddersfield Giants a fortnight ago, but this game is set to be re-scheduled.
Our development Saints are seeking their fourth victory of the campaign against York on Sunday afternoon.
