St.Helens R.F.C. can confirm that winger Tee Ritson will be leaving the Club at the end of the 2025 season ahead of re-joining Barrow Raiders from the 2026 season.
Tee Ritson is proudly sponsored at St.Helens by Autism Friendly Caravans.
The Cumbrian winger will make a permanent return to his previous club Barrow on on a two-year deal, the team he was with before joining the Saints ahead of the 2023 season.
Ritson has been featuring for the Raiders on loan during the 2025 season and has been a brilliant performer in the Betfred Championship, scoring 13 tries in 17 match appearances.
Sadly, Tee’s campaign was cut short a couple of weeks ago due to an ankle injury picked up in Barrow’s match against Widnes. The Saints sent him for a scan, which revealed he needed to have surgery.
During his three seasons with St.Helens, Ritson played in 26 matches, scoring 3 times. The Saints have loved having Tee be a part of our squad for the past three seasons, and wish him the best in his next chapter.
Speaking about the news, Ritson said to saintsrlfc.com: “The time has absolutely flown by, I’ve made some great friends for life, and I’ll be leaving with nothing but happy memories.
“I feel like I have progressed a lot with the Club, I’ve been surrounded by world-class players and coaches, and I feel like I’ve gained lots of valuable experience which can hopefully help me in the latter stages of my career.”
“I just want to say a big thank you to the fans, they’ve been great ever since I stepped into the town. Everyone welcomed me and has been really supportive, as have the coaching staff and players, all the players have helped me every step of the way.”
