Betfred Super League’s Young Player of the Year for 2025, Harry Robertson, will now be wearing the #3 shirt for the Saints in 2026, following an outstanding first full season in the Red V.
Deon Cross goes into his first full season at his beloved hometown club proudly wearing the iconic #5 shirt, following in the footsteps of some legendary Saints players.
After joining in the late stages of last season, initially on loan, Shane Wright made his move to St.Helens a permanent one and will have the #12 on his back.
New recruits David Klemmer and Jacob Host take the #13 and #14 shirts respectively, whilst Joe Shorrocks wears #22, as was revealed last week, and young winger Jacob Douglas will have the #26 shirt in 2026.
Relentless young prop George Delaney continues his progression and moves into the #15 shirt, previously held by James Bell and club stalwart Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, and fellow Saints Academy graduates who made their mark in 2025; half-back George Whitby will now wear #17, and outside back Owen Dagnall moves up to #24.
Leon Cowen (#27), Reserves Player of the Year for 2025 Jake Davies (#28), and Alfie Sinclair (#29) all move up in squad number from last season, too.
The five Academy Saints who have stepped into the First Team environment for the first time in 2026 – click here to read more about them – have yet to be allocated squad numbers. Should they make their competitive St.Helens debut, they will then be given their official squad number at that time.
Supporters will also note that #25 remains unallocated. The Club continues to actively explore markets ahead of the 2026 season.
