Noah Stephens

A towering prop forward Noah put pen to paper to join the First Team for 2024 on a two-year deal with a third-year option in the Club’s favour.

Noah’s time with the Club began at the age of 15 with our Under 16s setup after he got spotted whilst playing for local community side Pilkington Recs. After impressing with our Scholars he then moved up into the Academy. In ourUnder 18s Noah displayed bursting breaks and bulldozing runs, scoring six tries in the 2023 title-winning campaign, and was selected for the Lancashire Academy Origin side too.

With the likes of Matty Lees and Morgan Knowles to train and play alongside in the senior squad, it’s an exciting prospect for the former Pilkington Recs junior.

On Friday, 10th May 2024 Stephens made his senior debut for the Club in the Super League against Castleford Tigers in a brilliant 4-60 victory – becoming the 1,287th man to represent St.Helens. During the summer of 2024, Stephens stepped up with his performances, looking to lead from the front with our forward pack down on troops. Stephens gained valuable senior match minutes and proved that not only can he cut it at this level, but he is absolutely one to watch for the future with some brilliant bulldozing runs against opposing men who are far more senior in experiences.
