Saints signed Phoebe Hook during the 2023 season, after she impressed whilst featuring for Manchester Rugby Union.

Hook scored in the first ever Women’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley during her first year in Saints colours, earning her first piece of silverware and helping the Red V retain the Challenge Cup trophy for a third straight year.

Hook’s debut season saw her make nine appearances and score seven times, showing she was a star to watch out for on the wing.

2024 saw Hook take the squad number #20. Initially held back due to an injury, Hook took on the 2024 season in a similar fashion, scoring 13 times in 13 appearances, including another try at the national stadium as St.Helens made more history and won a fourth successive Challenge Cup trophy in a row.

In September 2024, the speedster also added the League Leaders’ Shield to her record, with the Saints topping the Betfred Women’s Super League table.

For the 2025 season, Hook, now an established league winger, was given the shirt number #2 for her third season with the Club.
