St Helens Women
10 | Chantelle Crowl
Prop, Back Row

Chantelle is a forward who has been playing rugby league since the age of 8. Born in Toronto, Canada, Crowl appeared for Widnes Moorfield, West Bank, Widnes Vikings, and Crosfields before joining Thatto Heath.
Crowl has also captained Lancashire, played for England Lionesses, and has been capped in the Rugby League World Cup back in 2017.
Joining the Saints for our inaugural season in 2018, Chantelle was an integral part of the Saints Women’s early formation, ultimately leading to success. She played a big part in the Red V’s 2021 treble-winning season, moving from the back row into the forward pack, and winning the Player of the Match award in the Grand Final.
Beloved by her teammates and a huge voice in the camp, Crowl leads from the front and has been a regular for the Saints, playing her part in the four Challenge Cups in-a-row, and two League Leaders’ Shields.
Chantelle Crowl is the Heritage Number 13 for the St Helens Women.
