BRYN Hargreaves wants to erase the memories of last season’s 26-10 loss at Hull KR with a strong performance this weekend.
“Last time we went to Hull we had a few injuries, were in a lull and our form wasn’t very good. We didn’t turn up and they got the better of us.
“We’d like to put that right this weekend. Every time we have been down there is has been tough place to go and that will be no less this weekend either. They are coming off the back of win and will be looking to set their strides for the new season.
“But we don’t want to drop off after three good wins.
“I know the Hull scoreline at the beginning of the season didn’t flatter us very much, but we knew there were teething problems and if we fixed them we would be fine.
“If I had to single out players, both Leon Pryce and Paul Wellens have really stepped up to the plate as has Kyle Eastmond. He has shown individual touches of brilliance and the ability to boss a team round the park. His kick chase shows how much he wants the team to do well.
“But we know we will have to bring our game to Hull. It is a tough place to go and a real fortress for them.”
