TWO of Saints first team squad are set to go out on loan for a month.
Prop forward Jordan Hand, 21, will join Wakefield Wildcats whilst hooker Matty Fozard, 20, is to move to Batley Bulldogs.
Both loan deals will be for a month and there is no recall.
“Both Matty and Jordan need to be playing regularly,” Saints Chief Executive Mike Rush said. “There is strong competition for places in the squad at St Helens and therefore we are more than grateful to Batley and Wakefield for agreeing to these moves.
“We will monitor their progress and of course wish them luck for the next month.”
Jordan was due to be on loan with Whitehaven this season but with a change of coach at that club, and their dual-registration commitments, Saints have explored other options.
