James Roby is into his 18th senior pre-season with the Saints - a remarkable achievement in itself - and our Captain chatted to Saints TV this week on why he is still as motivated as ever, how his body is shaping up, new faces in the squad and how pre-season training has evolved since he first started!
Robes led Saints to back-to-back Super League crowns last season after a Man of the Match performance in the Grand Final victory over Wigan and insists his body is feeling great after an extended break and is still as motivated as he was 10 years ago.
His motivation comes from the fact he is well aware this could potentially be one of his last pre-season’s in the game and our captain therefore admits he realises the importance of a hard-working few months before the season kicks off.
