The majority of our first team squad returned to training earlier today after registering negative tests following a period of isolation.
Saints last two Betfred Super League games were postponed after the Club announced some positive tests amongst players and staff which subsequently led to a large number of the squad having to self isolate through track and trace and close contacts.
The players and staff who registered positive tests or who were close contacts are still unable to return, but the rest of the squad were put through their paces earlier today for the first time since our Challenge Cup triumph at Wembley and they were certainly pleased to be back to business at the Totally Wicked Stadium!
Our 21 man squad will be named on Saturday at 12 noon ahead of our clash with Hull FC on Monday live on Sky Sports.
