Saints face Salford Red Devils at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday evening with kick off at 8pm and we have all the information you need right here in our Match Preview story.
BACKGROUND…
St.Helens come into tonight’s fixture, at the top of the Super League XXVII table, having won eight of our 10 matches for a total of 16 points.
Salford have lost their last four Super League games, but performed well against Wigan last week despite a last minute Jai Field try which resulted in a 24-30 defeat.
Head Coach Paul Rowley worked hard with his squad to prepare them for the new season and they began 2022 well by winning their opening two games against Castleford Tigers (A) 26-16 and Toulouse Olympique (H) 38-12. Wigan Warriors then knocked Salford out of the Challenge Cup at the 6th round stage and Saints will now face Wigan in the Betfred Challenge Cup Semi-Final next Saturday knowing a win over Salford on Friday will lay the platform.

Fans will need to ensure they bring a valid photo ID with them in order to prove their age when purchasing alcohol at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Any fans who are over 18 but can’t prove their age it may be refused sale of alcohol.
We remind fans to ensure their conduct is befitting of out Club. Any anti-social behavior that contravenes the Club’s Ground regulations (that can be viewed here)

Open from 9am, the Superstore at the Totally Wicked Stadium has everything you need to kit yourself out including our 2022 home and away replica kit, training wear and leisure clothing, caps, hats and a huge range of souvenirs and gifts as well as matchday essentials such as flags and scarves.
CHEERLEADERS/MINI RUGBY
Our A Star Saints Angels Cheerleaders will be making an appearance performing pre-match and at half-time and there will also be mini-rugby thanks to our Saints Community Development Foundation.

Tickets can be bought online up until 12 midday on Friday by clicking here. Tickets will also be available at the game via the ticket office or on the West Stand via either cash or contactless card payment.
