Saints boss Kristian Woolf has recalled his senior figures and included them in his 21 man squad ahead of the Betfred Super League Round 11 match up with Salford Red Devils on Friday (kick off 8pm).
After an energy-sapping Easter Weekend the boss opted to shuffle is pack due to a mix of suspensions, injuries and fatigue against Castleford, but a host of his senior players return this week.
Tommy Makinson, Will Hopoate, Mark Percival, Jonny Lomax, Alex Walmlsey, James Roby, Matty Lees, Joe Batchelor, Morgan Knowles and Agnatius Paasi all return.
Woolf also confirmed in his pre-match press conference yesterday that Will Hopoate and Sione Mata’utia have also recovered from injuries and are named this week.
Curtis Sironen and Konrad Hurrell both serve the second game of their two game bans, whilst James Bell starts his two game ban so misses out. Woolf admitted Regan Grace had a “possibility” of featuring this week, but he hasn’t made it.
Jake Wingfield has been ruled out with a shoulder injury and young full back Jon Bennison is out after fracturing his cheekbone against Castleford. Lewis Dodd is sadly ruled out for the season with an Achilles injury, whilst
Friday’s match is NOT televised, but you can follow all the updates in our Match Centre here and our social media accounts.
