St.Helens centre Konrad Hurrell has joined Betfred Championship side Bradford Bulls on an initial two-week loan.

Yet to feature for the Red V in the Betfred Super League season, Hurrell had been working his way back to full fitness following a neck injury suffered last season, which required surgery. Earlier in the 2025 season, the Tongan powerhouse featured on dual registration with Championship side Halifax Panthers on four occasions, however a calf injury sadly set him back.
After working his way back in rehab to full training with St.Helens in recent weeks, Hurrell took a further step to regaining match fitness by appearing on dual registration for Swinton Lions against the Midlands Hurricanes.
Now, looking to continue his return to full match fitness, Konrad will be available for selection by Bradford Bulls’ Head Coach Brian Noble with this loan move. The Bulls are currently second in the Betfred Championship table, only behind Toulouse in first on points difference, and Hurrell is in contention to play for the West Yorkshire side this Sunday, when Bradford host the 1895 Cup winners York Knights.
So far in his time as a Saint, Konrad has played 64 times for the Club, scoring 26 tries, including important scores in the Red V’s 2022 Grand Final and 2023 World Club Challenge victories.
