On Friday night St.Helens will host a double-header as we welcome Leeds Rhinos and York Valkyrie to the BrewDog Stadium.

- St.Helens vs Leeds Rhinos – 8pm kick-off – Betfred Super League – Round 25
Our Women’s team knows to expect a tough two weeks against the Valks, with this home clash first, followed by a visit to the LNER Community Stadium a week later. This will also serve as the final regular home match for some Saints too, with captain Jodie Cunningham, Emily Rudge and Zoe Harris all set to retire following the 2026 season.
The Red V Men are on a two-match winning run following victories away over Wakefield Trinity and an impressive first half against Castleford where they led 30-0 before losing a player to a red card. A determined second half saw them secure the crucial two league points, to stay in the hunt for the play-offs places.

WOMEN UP FIRST
Before the Men’s First Team game, our Women will continue their campaign in the Super Four competition when they take on York Valkyrie. The Red V will be looking to get their first win in this stage of the Betfred Women’s Super League, and would also love it to be the perfect final home game send-off for some Saints too, with captain Jodie Cunningham. Emily Rudge and Zoe Harris are set to retire following the 2026 season.
Join us at the BrewDog Stadium early on Friday evening, the turnstiles will be open from 4:45pm, so come along to cheer on our Saints Women!
Match tickets and Memberships will permit entry to watch both matches on Friday. Tickets are not available for supporters to attend just the Women’s match.

SQUAD NEWS
Eamon O’Carroll has made two changes to the squad that was victorious over Castleford Tigers in Round 24, with Jackson Hastings beginning his three-match penalty notice, and Saints Academy youngster Oscar Knox stepping out of the selection.
Coming into replace them are the experienced pair of David Klemmer and legendary Jonny Lomax, named for the first time in the 21-man squad since a jaw fracture back in June.

COACH PREVIEW
Interim boss Eamon O’Carroll says his side are looking forward to the challenge of facing the current league leaders on Friday night, with the Saints aiming to build on their recent form.
Praising the team’s togetherness and connection in recent weeks, O’Carroll knows they will need to improve again against a strong Leeds side. He believes St.Helens can take confidence from their recent performances, while respecting the quality of their opponents.

We are in action at the BrewDog Stadium once again, and our 2026 Home Kit will be worn proudly on Friday Night.
Paying homage to the inaugural season of Super League in 1996, this year is 30 years since that momentous campaign during which St.Helens won the League title and a memorable Challenge Cup victory at Wembley.

THE RECORD AGAINST LEEDS
The two sides have met 86 times in the Betfred Super League era, with Saints winning 51 of the meetings and Leeds winning 35. There have been no draws.
St.Helens largest Super League win over the Rhinos came in 2020, as Kristian Woolf’s side ran out 48-0 winners on the road with Regan Grace scoring a sublime hat trick. Leeds’ largest winning margin in this fixture was back in 2004, as they thrashed Ian Millward’s side 70-0 at Headingley.

SUPPORTER SAFETY
St.Helens R.F.C. want to ensure that everyone who comes to enjoy game days at the BrewDog Stadium can do so in a safe and friendly environment. The Club would like to reiterate to supporters that it operates a zero-tolerance approach to any anti-social behaviour.
Misbehaviours that will not be tolerated include, but are not limited to; physical or verbal abuse, violent conduct, missile throwing, excessive alcohol misuse, and any drug use.
Furthermore, the use of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited under both rugby and football ground regulations. They can cause serious injuries to those who carry them as well as fellow spectators, as well as damage to surfaces such as the playing pitch which can cost clubs thousands of pounds.
St.Helens would also like to encourage parents/guardians of children coming to the ground to ensure they are always aware of what their child is doing and where in the stadium they are at all times.
BAG CHECK
Personal bags of A5 size or smaller only will be permitted in the BrewDog Stadium, and our stewarding staff will check your bags and conduct bag checks upon entry. We kindly ask supporters to please remain patient and be co-operative with our staff, and we thank you for your understanding.
Bags larger than A5 will only be permitted at the discretion of St.Helens R.F.C. staff if containing essentials for babies, or medical purposes and will be subject to being searched before entry. It is advised to provide Medical Exemption Certificates or proof of eligibility for a Medical Exemption Certificate.
O’Neills branded paper bags from the Saints Superstore will be permitted entry, however, they too will be subject to bag checks from our stewarding staff.
Bag-Drop Facility
A Bag-Drop area will be set up at the BrewDog Stadium for any bags that would not be permitted entry. This will be located in the South East corner of the stadium and will be open from two hours before kick-off and will close one hour after full time.
Please note our Bag-Drop facility will cost £3 per bag, and as a cashless venue, only debit or credit cards will be accepted. St.Helens R.F.C. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of items which are left at the owners’ risk, with all bags subject to a search.
