COACH PREVIEW
Head Coach Paul Rowley says his side are excited to close out Magic WKND 2026 against Wigan Warriors after a strong week of preparation following the win over Bradford Bulls.
Jacob Host returned successfully last week, while Daryl Clark is back in contention. Rowley praised the squad’s response to an injury-hit period, highlighting the impact of the club’s young players. He also congratulated Jacob Douglas on his Saints debut, saying his patience and hard work earned the opportunity.
Rowley also hopes Magic WKND will attract more football fans to rugby league, pointing to the club’s strong links with Everton and Liverpool, as well as St Helens’ place as Merseyside’s closest rugby league team.

🟦 2026 THIRD KIT ⬜️
The Saints’ 2026 Third Kit will be worn proudly on Sunday evening!
Inspired by the iconic 1996 away kit, our third strip pays tribute to the inaugural Super League season. It will be only the second outing for the kit in 2026, and the first time Saints have run out in it at the BrewDog Stadium.
The kit worn during that season has since become iconic and a retro favourite amongst Saints fans. Worn by the likes of Steve Prescott MBE, Tommy Martyn, Keiron Cunningham, Chris Joynt, Anthony Sullivan, Bobbie Goulding and Paul Newlove, to name but a few.
💪 KLEMMER EXCITED FOR DERBY DAY AT MAGIC
David Klemmer is looking forward to playing at Everton’s new stadium for the first time and believes the event is another great opportunity to showcase our sport on these shores. With Saints set to be backed by huge travelling support, the towering prop says the players are determined to deliver a performance the fans can be proud of.
Saints have experienced highs and lows this season, but Klemmer feels the squad have made good progress in recent weeks. He says the focus has been on improving their own performances, while also cutting out ill discipline.
