Sponsors join forces with the Club to establish awareness of their brand, through repetition and frequency of messaging across Television, Social Media, Print Media and live at games through Stadium advertising and activation work. They use that association to engage with our supporters to try and attract them to become new customers and work alongside our Sales, Marketing and Media teams to mutually agree strategic plans to ensure they achieve the maximum return for their investment. This is achieved by innovative activation of their product or service with key messages delivered through a variety of our communication channels.
We have a clear objective to incorporate them into our family of sponsors to help develop long-term relationships to assist us with our renewal process, this in turn will help us achieve budgeted commercial growth and underpin our recruitment programme across all age groups and in particular to attract the best talent across the world at elite level, plus the best medical support team, coaching set-up and player retention.
One of the main objectives of our commercial department over the next three seasons is to generate revenue growth in order to support the recently agreed increase to the salary cap across that period – including new rules on access to marquee players. Therefore, the Club needs to ensure that it has the best opportunity to be competitive within the Betfred Super League and Ladbrokes Challenge Cup resulting in the prospect of testing ourselves in the Dacia World Club Series every year. This level of success will provide an outstanding return on investment for our Partners and Sponsors through the platform it would achieve for their brand and will in turn would clearly generate more support for the Saints, within the stadium through improved ticket sales, additional TV viewers and significantly increased Social Media activity, which will continue to benefit them with access to this new audience.
